I couldn't believe some of the reviews saying the blanket wasn't warm enough. I live in Philly and my house is old, cold and not insulated! Temperature in my living room is about 63F. So this blanket is the bomb. It gets so hot, I have to turn it off sometimes and the blanket alone works great. It's a micro velor so it looks great. Matches our black couch, has a long cord so you can plug it in across the room. If you have an old house like mine, you need a long cord. I taped down the switch to a side table so it doesn't move. The blanket has a nice safety feature that turns it off after 2 hours. I find everything right with this blanket; especially the low Cost. It's cheap for this type of quality. The cords inside the blanket are minimal and doesn't affect the comfy level. In my house we're all about comfort while watching movies and I give this blanket an A for quality, softness, workability and chic-ness for looks.

This throw feels so nice. It is too bad that I have not had a need for it. This winter has been so warm, I have not had a chance too use. At least I will have it whenever it gets cold.
